Google Glasses.....sign me up, oh wait!

There's been a lot of talk about Google Glasses recently around the interwebs. If you're not familiar with the glasses click here. The deadline to submit your application to be one of the first to test the technology ended today. Requirements were pretty close to a scholarship application minus the $1500 out of pocket for the tech, and the airfare to attend the "Special pick-up experience" to physically place them in your hands. All the science fiction movies we've come to love are coming to life. Could be a bad thing, or a good thing. What say you?

    I heard about this, it sounds awesome, but I do not see the google glasses catching on if they make it seem like an exclusive group, but I guess with that kind of technology that is what happens.

    and I see a future of massive auto crashes and pedestrian deaths as people wear these.
